What We've Been Up To

Year 12 Norton Rose Fulbright Trip

On the 1st of May, a group of Year 12 students attended an insight day at Norton Rose Fulbright, here is what two students, Haja and Zahara had to say about their day.

"This Wednesday us and 10 other year 12 students attend an insight day at Norton rose Fulbright, where we were given the opportunity to expand our knowledge on law, we were given a tour around the building, where we were showed where all the different departments worked with in the building. We were joined by a handful of employees who worked in all different departments who gave us an insight as to what they do and their required job roles. We then were given a task where we were asked to pitch an idea of where there should open their new office. We were given a criterion that had to be taken into consideration as well as many other factors that had to be considered when making a final decision. The winning group considered of Haja, Zahara, Marsha, Amara and Javi. This day was very helpful as it allowed us to see what options were available to us post sixth form, also our one on one conversations with the employee also showed that we didn’t need to know what we want to do now as there are many different ways to enter this career later in life."
