Harris Academies
All Academies in our Federation aim to transform the lives of the students they serve by bringing about rapid improvement in examination results, personal development and aspiration.

Central Office

Covid-19 - From September 2021

This is our page where we will include information for our students, parents and carers on how the academy is following the latest guidance on managing coronavirus (Covid-19).

We share information by updating the website regularly.

We carried out asympomtatic testing on two dates - Monday 6 September and Thursday 9 September 2021. A follow up letter and home testing kit have now been issued to students. Students can collect further lateral flow kits from their tutor.

Logging Lateral Flow Results

Students have been advised to and given details of how to log their lateral flow results.  Students should also inform the academy of their results.  The form do this can be accessed here. Please make sure to have the barcode of the lateral flow test device.

Of course nothing can replace the key messages:

- good hygiene by regular hand washing and sanitising - we ask all students and visitors to sanitise on entry to the academy and regularly during the day (or their visit)

- we ensure that the academy is cleaned regularly

- we have a state-of-the-art ventilation system to make sure spaces are well ventilated

- we always follow public health advice on testing, self-isolation and managing confirmed cases of Covid-19.

We are sure that you know that it goes without saying that students, parents or carers should not come into the academy if they have symptoms of Covid-19. Symptoms and what do to if you suspect you have symptoms are summarised clearly by the NHS here. An easy to read guide on stay at home guidance for you and your household can also be accessed by clicking here.

We will also make sure we have appropriate plans in place so that we can provide a high quality remote education should it ever be needed, such as a student being required to self-isolate.

If you have questions or queries in relation to Covid-19 and how this will impact on the academy then please do email
