On Thursday afternoon, our A Level English and Drama students were treated to a dazzling West End production of The Great Gatsby. We were fortunate to catch the show in its final week—and it did not disappoint. What a way to kick off the term!

Head of School, Sarah Heuston says: "Our students have won places at the best universities in the country on high tariff courses. We could not be prouder of them as they step out into the world to make their mark.”

Over one third of all entries achieved A*-B grades (or equivalent) with almost a fifth (19%) achieving the top A* and A grades (or equivalent).  100% of vocational students passed their qualifications with a huge 70% achieving a Distinction or Distinction* grade.

Biology Practical

The Year 12 Biologists have launched their biochemistry education this term and are currently learning about proteins. The models made today enable them to act out the complex process of protein folding, the process by which amino acid chains fold using intramolecular forces to become the proteins with the perfect shape to carry out their function.
