What We've Been Up To

Posted on September 26th 2025

A Year to Remember: Compete, Create and Celebrate Together

As we kick off an exciting new term, we’re thrilled to welcome our new Year 12 students into the sixth form community! One of the best ways to settle in and make the most of your time here is by getting involved in our upcoming house events, which promise to be some of the best yet. This year, our amazing House Captain team will be working closely with the Student Parliament to bring you a wide range of exciting, inclusive, and memorable events, from sports competitions and creative challenges to quizzes and charity drives.

We’re also aiming to raise money throughout the year to support both charitable causes and the Year 13 end-of-year celebration, so every event you take part in will make a difference. Stay tuned for what we’ve got lined up for Black History Month, including an Afro hair and braiding workshop, as well as student-led assemblies and presentations celebrating Black culture and history. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, show your house spirit, and become an active part of school life. Keep an eye out for announcements, get involved, and don’t hesitate to speak to your House Captains or Parliament presidents if you have ideas or want to contribute. Let’s make this a year to remember!
