So Nice, We did it Twice: Twice the Effort, Twice the Support
After seeing how successful our One Jamaica One Love Relief Drive was last week, many of us felt we wanted to do even more. What started as a one day collection inspired our whole school to keep helping, so on Monday we opened the drive for an extra day. As a House Captain, it was amazing to watch the donations come in again. People arrived with extra items and you could tell they genuinely wanted to support families in Jamaica who are recovering after Hurricane Melissa. The atmosphere felt really positive, and it was clear how much our school community cares. A group of us stayed behind to help pack the boxes. We sorted through all the supplies and made sure everything was ready to be sent. It felt good to be part of something that will actually help people in a real way.
Thanks to everyone’s kindness, we collected far more than we expected. The boxes are now on their way to Jamaica, and knowing we played a part in that means a lot. Thank you to every student, member of staff and family who contributed. Harris Clapham Sixth Form showed incredible
heart and support, and I am proud to have been involved.
