Taschanne Padmore

Assistant Principal

Miss Padmore, Assistant Principal, believes in empowering young people to become the best version of themselves.

Born and raised in Lambeth, Miss Padmore has a strong connection to South London and a passion for helping young people recognise their potential and broaden their aspirations.

A specialist in Social Sciences, particularly Sociology, she encourages students to question the world around them, think critically about society and develop the confidence to challenge inequality and injustice.

Having worked across a range of South London schools, including several outstanding Harris academies, Miss Padmore has developed extensive experience in pastoral leadership, safeguarding and curriculum development. Her work with sixth form students has strengthened her belief that these two years are about far more than academic outcomes; they are a crucial period in which young people develop their independence, identity, confidence and ambitions for the future.

As Assistant Principal, Miss Padmore is committed to ensuring that students have access to the opportunities, guidance and experiences that will help them succeed beyond sixth form. She is passionate about careers, progression, enrichment and student leadership, ensuring that young people are supported to make ambitious and informed choices about their futures.

She feels privileged to work with sixth form students as they prepare for adulthood, encouraging them to take meaningful risks, beat the odds and break through the glass and concrete ceilings that can stand between them and their aspirations.
