Structure of the Week
The school day starts at 8:45am and finishes at 3:40pm.
Start of the day
Students are advised to get to school at 8:30am to allow time to prepare for class and avoid being late. Any students arriving after 8:45am will be considered late.
On Monday, students have a later start of 10:30am unless they have timetabled lessons.
All Year 12 students are expected on site Tuesday to Friday at 8:45am along with any Year 13 students with a morning lesson.
Those Year 13 students with a timetabled study period in the morning can choose to study at home and are therefore required to be on site until 10:30am.
End of the day
Typically the school day finishes at 3:40pm. Throughout the week, students with a study period at the end of the day may choose to complete this study at home.
The school building remains open until 5:30pm, and students are encouraged to make use of the Library for independent study during any of their study periods.
Thursday interventions
On Thursday afternoons, the school provides intervention classes for students who require additional support and guidance. Students who do not have a timetabled intervention session may leave the site and continue their studies at home.
